Lee first heard about wire ventilated shelving in the mid 1980’s. Entrepreneurial by nature, Lee recognized there was an opportunity to introduce this product to residential home builders in the Hudson Valley. Creative Closet Systems was born out of a desire to be self-employed and to provide end users with a product that had a positive impact on daily life. Lee also sought to create a workplace where individuals have the freedom to develop their talent in a supportive work environment. As the company expanded beyond closet organization, a name change was necessary to reflect our ever-expanding product lines. It was a natural migration to extend our organizational expertise into additional areas of the home. Rylex has continued to embrace market trends and technical advancements in the closet and cabinet industries.
