Sales and Designer, Full time

We are looking for a motivated, creative individual to fill a Design and Sales position in our company. The ideal candidate will be positive, enthusiastic, a listener, creative, detail oriented, and flexible. Must possess problem solving skills and work well with clients.

Description: Designer will work with customers to design custom cabinetry and closets with CAD software. The position requires the designer to collaborate with the staff and clients, communicate with vendors and jobsite personnel and to see projects from start to completion. Primary job duties involve meeting with customers, designing and estimating, preparing project drawings, order processing and follow up with customers, vendors and staff. Must be detailed oriented, able to communicate ideas with clarity and discuss changes with customers.

In addition, designer may work in the field and manufacturing shop to gain a greater understanding of our unique products and procedures. We are a small company looking for an individual who is flexible and willing to learn a variety of tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-3 years' experience in the kitchen, bath, or building industry required.
• Must be detailed, organized, and team oriented.
• Must have proven design skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages.
• Prior sales experience and customer service is preferred.
• Self-driven, able to work independently.
• Eager to learn.
• Detail-oriented and great follow-through.
• Enjoy working with and collaborating with others.
• Passionate about creating organized spaces for yourself and others.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Excel is preferred.
• Have your own reliable transportation.
